In the user Management ZITADEL (Manage Users in Cloud Connect in the top right corner) you can create your own users and afterwards assign them some permissions in the Authorizations section.
Here is a short explanation of what are the current available roles are about.
- view-namespace - fetching general information related to an organization, not speficied by detailed category. Example: organization details, units used by the organization.
- manage-namespace - editing general information related to an organization
- view-licenses - fetching licenses owned by an organization
- view-sources - fetching data related to data sources, i.e. machines/devices that send data through the client to Cloud Connect
- manage-sources - editing data related to data sources, for instance registering new machines or connecting registered machines
- view-gateways - fetching gateways, i.e. on-site devices connected to Cloud Connect
- manage-gateways - registering and connecting new gateways
- view-clients - fetching data related to clients, i.e. programs running on gateway devices that facilitate connection with a machine
- manage-clients - editing client configuration
- view-blueprints - fetching blueprints, contains all specifications of how client data is handled
Role Assignment
The roles listed above can be grouped to distinguish 2 kinds of users of Cloud Connect system - they either are prefixed with view- or manage-.
At this moment there is just one role - edge-client - that is meant to be user with machine users only.
